Blame it on Arabs and whites who brainwashed our ppl into hating their ancient neighbors for apparently no good reason. Germans and French have been hating each other for centuries, they killed millions of each other with alacrity and yet today they're partners of highest order. Somali vs Ethiopian enmity dates back to only 500 years ago, and that is if you can really call it an enmity between the two groups because there was no such thing as Somalia 500 years ago or ethiopia and compared to other enmity that exists around the world, pale in comparison. But according to the prevailing Somali opinion of today, Ethiopia is our mortal enemy.

I lived in Ethiopia for few years. Without a doubt the best country in black Africa for a somali to live.
