Somalia Needs a Barack Obama:
His messages of hope, unity and change have inspired millions across the country and around the world. for almost 20 years we have been fighting each other, our country is divided, our history is tarnished, and our once beloved nation is now the laughingstock of the free world. what we need, what we want is change, who amongst us has the audacity to be the voice of reason? who amongst us will stand up and say enough is enough? who amongst us will unite us and lead us once again to the glory days?

What is the possibility that there might be a bullet with his name on it waiting for him somewhere sometime?

Somalia needs a Lenin, a Mao, a Ho chi Minh, a Fidel, a Khomenei etc etc.
Once we have a functioning state system in check can we use a Barack Obama.

Given the chance, i will gladly surrender my life if it meant peace for my country and my people. Obama supporters should not and will not hesitate to sacrifice him if it means 100 young men and women will take his place.

This is where i disagree,
si-ilanyo joined a movement that was already working, he simply brougth energy and organization to it, and he led it to the best of his abilities..
Somalia today is in a different place to where the Isaaq clan was in 1980.
an entirely different scale of a challenge..

Re: Somalia Needs a Barack Obama:
what should the new somali barack obama say?picture him saying we need all somalis from ras kombi to selac to solve our problems and unite.but that includes somaliland to. and picture him adding nfd and somali galbeed to the somali map.we need a new barack obama that rather unite somalis and respect their wilness.like nuur cadde for example is a good one.
