a masjid in a place where there is no running water or no medical clinics ?

Granted I do believe religion is very important but why spend a lot of money on a Masjid when the basic items for decent human living don't exist ?

Are we following the logic of the Saudis who will donate thousands of dollars to build massive mosques and dugsi in places where people don't even have clean water to drink or clinics to treat themselves ?

whats next why do somalis pray in a war zone their life is more important????!!!!!!!!! cajib.

One must not miss their prayer under any circumstances even during dagaal. Take a 5 minute break and pray while your friends keep defense.

a masjid is not just a place of prayer, it's also a dugsi and can be used for many things.

Because worshipping Allah is the most important thing in life.

Xabshis are using tens of masjids as bases in Xamar ,and toaletts sometimes,.liberate those first

I agree to some extent. But, I doubt masjids are built in refugee camps or the wilderness. I believe that Somalis should not be spoon fed. A masjid is essentially a school and also provides shelter, food, and a community center.

Its better to teach a man to fish than to fish for him. The world has been feeding Somalia since god-knows-when and nothing good as come out of it. But because Somalis began rebuilding their regions right after the civil war, they virtually made up for every consequence of civil war.

In other words, building a masjid is more useful than sending bananas to a brain dead Somali who will amount to another tribal warrior.
