I'll repent when I get older.

Post by Lil_Cutie.. »

Why do people say stupid things like;

I'll start wearing the hijab when I get married.
I'll acting like a proper muslim/muslimah when I have children.
I'll stop clubbing but first let me just enjoy myself.
I'll start praying during ramadan and after.

& what kills it is, some people are genuine, they really think they have it planned and mapped out infront of them. Others I suppose just need inspiration and they mean 'soon' InshaAllah. But the ones that actually think they can diseve Allah (swt) are the biggest losers, as if they can committ all the sins they wish , enjoy it because they 'are still young' and then just before they die they will utter the words of shahadh. Istagfurulah..
Dont you know the youth that practised thier deen and resisted desires of this dunyah will be one of the most fortunate groups to be upon the shade of Allah on judgement day? What a beautiful gift! So Allah does not forget, those that in thier prime of thier life where much fitna is surrounding them resist.. Allahu Akbour. May Allah makes us amongst thoses shaded under the shade of Allah. Aameen {Which is believe to stop around 30!}

You think you got it tough? Look to the greatest companions of the Prophet Muhammed (saw) whose spread islam ..YEEP, The Youth!!! Like Abu Hurayrah, Musacab, Muacalth Jabar, Aisha, Fatima, Zayd, Ali, Zubair, Usamah ibn Zayd, Daalah, Habib ibn Zayd al-Ansari, Barakah ... etc!!! SubhanAllah. Radi-Allahu 'anhu!!

RANT OVER.
Salaam. :)

The possibility of sudden death doesn't figure into the calculations of people who think that way. Death seems a remote event that touches only older and ill people.

Well, thats just the youth.

The older ones talking about making towba 'later' .. is another ball game.
If the Janazah doesn't soften their heart, and they see Allah's mercy and blessings day in and day out, then SubhanAllah!!

I once had a good friend who lived in the same neighborhood as me, he was Ethiopian and Muslim, so we always kicked it

so like when we got older, he was telling me about what he was doing with girls and ish... and he kept talking about "oh dont worry man...i'll go to hajj when I'm 60 or something LOL"

Well, that leads on to Instensions, again. But SubhanAllah one thing is for sure when people do things just for the sake of it, it is easier to guide them and give them dacwa and its clear on numerous occassions they often do come back to the deen. InshaAllah. But anyways Its the same for the brothers who go round with a long beard. Lol... Dont be fooled but then again dont judge.

Remembering death humbles the soul. No one is guaranteed to live to old age.
