Stop the Abuse of Old Somali Men

Its really sad to see how the Odeeyal are getting mistreated by their wives & their kids. Just the other day, I saw this senior who is a nice old man whose wife asked for a divorce after being married for 40 years. The sad part is her kids support her.

Its like everywhere you go, the power of the Odeey has been undermined. No wonder every minute they get a chance to leave the house, they flee to the Coffee Shop.

Actually out of everyone in the West the people I feel the most sorry for are the Somali odayaal. It must sock getting old and dying in a foreign country. Also one thing I noticed is they seem the most pro Somali anti qabil. The most qabil obsessed people in the West shockingly are the single mother/Habaro and the younger "D Block" "H Town" crazed kids.

There are different scenarios in this Bac Madow stuff!!

1. Some men abused women so badly back home and it happens that when the family comes to the West it is like a Pay Back time...Unless the wife is a women with patience...Some men were just abusers...

2. Some women are Caqli Caruur who couldn't believe they have some powers in the West and they just abuse that, hence abusing their husbands and their family.

3. There are lose women who forgot religion and culture and they kick their husbands to marry others..or do Zinna..

4. There are men who refuse to help their family at all..The wife works 24/7 outside and inside home, may have 7 kids and he sits idly chewing Kat..When the wife gets upset he says "Naagihii waa kibreen"

So there are many irresponsible husbands and irresponsible wives. We don't have to blame one group.

But the children should be fair to their parents...Even though some hold grudges against the neglecting parent..

Only doqon will do that...It is the best interest of the kids to be friendly with their dads..Even though some dads are so so irresponsible.. Some father's behaviour is just like a sperm donor..To be father is more than the donation!

I know this old SOmali guy who got so fed up of the abuse he moved back to Hawd. He is living happily there.

If your dad or mom is older than 40 and living in Africa, don't bring them in the West. You will earn their curse instead of blessing. When you and (if you are married with kids) go to work and school, leave them at home by themselves, in no time you will see them transforming from this healthy human being to something sickly and psychotic.
