You guys can subscribe to Dish Network and get their Arabic package:

http://www.dishnetwork.com/content/what ... kages.aspx

ART Movies shows nothing, but Egyptian/Arabic movies including the oldies with Abdul-Haleem, Fatin Hamam, Omar Shareef, etc:

Lol. Yh, you can get a local package with the usual channels you get from cable and then an international package, combo kinda deal. You even get Al-Jazeera and Iqra (great Islamic channel with English programs). I've had it since 2006 and it beats having just cable, specially during Ramadan & Eid, 'cause they've excellent programs during those seasons including Live Taraweeh from the Ka'ba.

They've cooking shows on LBC (Lebanesse) channel, specially in the mornings. They even showed the African Cup of Nations tournament in its entirety. Plus, most of their movies on ART Movies come with English sub-titles in case your Arabic is crusty!

Enjoy.
