is there any one of us who loves the Prophet (SAW), remembers him and reveres him MORE than the Saxaaba (RA) did? if you say yes, then ur a liar and if u say no, then we shouldn't do anything more than they did.

Remembering the Prophet (SAW), reading qur'an, making dhikr = Xalaal and recommended

Secondly, there's a controversy among the scholar's about when exactly the Prophet SAW was born so even if the Mawlatul Nabi is not xaraam to celebrate, it's innovation to celebrate on the wrong day, just like you can't have Eid in the middle of Ramadan....so it's a lose-lose situation

Xaaji_Xundjuf There is a principle in Islam which you must understand..

When it comes to Cibaadah (worship)..

Everything is Xaram unless what Allah and his Messenger have made obligatory or Sunnah..

For example if i say Salat or Siyam is from the deen than is a must on me to bring proof from the quran and sunnah..

we all know the proofs to them..

Now when a person claims a new Cibaadah (worship) like the Mawlid or anything to get closer to Allah than is a must on him to bring the proof..

Where in the quran and Sunnah does it say that Mawlid A Nabi is allowed?
There is no where in the quran or hadith of Mawlid.. You cant even find weak hadiths.. lol. Because it was created about 800 years after the death of the prophet.

The reason why does principle was layed down was to stop people from adding something new to the religion like the Jews and Christians have done..
