I just ask Allah the all mighty to make me live long enough to see that day, when our people shall be one, when a man can travel from Djibouti through Ogaden and all the way to NFD (Northern Kenya frontier) with only a somali passport

Well Siad Barre could create Greater Somalia in 1977,he defeated ethiopians,but at the end his army was not enough to defeat URSS and the allies.
Siad Barre could create the somalian dream but he trusted in EE.UU and it betrayed somalia.
But I think Somalia has an oportunity to create a Greater Somalia,if the Islamists can defeat Meles Zanawi.

Would Djibouti reunite with us? Afterall, the Afars do live there. I'm not sure about that but I do hope for a Greater Somalia and inshallah, a power house in Africa.

If the Islamiist can defeat meles, then yes they can deliver Greater Somalia but so far the ethiopian army is stronger, if meles goes to full war with Eritrea than the Islamist hve a chance at retaking somalia and enough time to create a real somali army to initiate greater Somalia aspirations.
snowflakes821, the afars are muslims and look almost identical to us Somalis, am sure they would prefer to be within somalia rather than Ethiopia
