I think they do. My greatgrandfather left there as a teen and headed to Kismayo. What is even more shocking is that my other greatgrandfather's ( Omar Mohmud - Reer Mahad) mother was Usman Mohmud. He was born in Mudug, as was his mother. I didn't know Usman Mohmuds actually lived down there.
