Perhaps because some threads violate the rules and regulations of Somalinet be it intentionally or unintentionally?
However, this is just a wild guess.

I think they lock up threads that r the usual or just plain dumb n they delete offensive threads that break rules.

advo, i didn't understand what u meant sxb, medication kaada ku noqo ninyahow
pink, if that's the case, that's fukked up cuz mods shouldn't make the decision of what they feel is a "dumb topic"...it's either offensive and it gots to go or it's not offensive and they leave it alone

Re: Why are some threads locked and not deleted?
Oh ok, I apologize. I think it might depend on the extremity of the thread, some threads might be locked temporarily, which gives moderators enough time to investigate the breaches of the thread & it also serves as a warning to other posters. The useless threads that can't be salvaged- usually those that contain vulgar & foul language, and those threads which serve no purpose probably get deleted. This is all just pure speculation, only a moderator could give you the precise reasons for those actions.yungnfresh wrote:lol i figured that much...my question is, why do thread's get locked instead of deleted?

Re: Why are some threads locked and not deleted?
i asked a question about the difference between 2 things out of curiosity and u consider that complaining, which means u obviously don't know the difference...which means ur obviously retarded
so for someone who's obviously retarded to call me stupid is just mind boggling and offends me more than actually being called stupid....now please walaal, with all due respect, fukk off
