Somaliland; Ballots, Bullets or Islamic Gov ? (No Clan)

Post by salafi_student »

Relative peace in Hargeysa is now in doubt, due to increasingly political stand offs between authority and oppositions who threaten to not recognise the so called upper-house delegations decision to further delay elections until next year. Many sceptics are saying the current situation in that region is volatile as ever and security of the beautiful city of hargeysa is getting worse by the day and war could break-out.

What would the solution be at this stage; Bullets to ruin all that was build for the past 17 years or Ballots which may leave some people upset when they lose and in return could eventually take-up arms - or Islamic Government which unites the people?

I pick an Islamic government which can Unite North and South.

What do you want ?

Ethiopia will not interfere because it has good relations and dialogue with all the political parties in Somaliland.

Its allways the same.

You wish for somaliland to be in the same situation that you are in now.
A place where you have i might add, chosen for yourself.

You are the ones that invited ethiopia, you speak of nationalism and yet your "government"
the "TFG" is an Ethiopian creature.

At least we chose our own government, we built our own instituttion.
Your "Government" was chosen for you in addis abba, and you were given the chance to sign off on it in Kenya.

now please leave us alone..

you made your own mess, you have to deal with it.

[quote gurey25]What is your concern with Somaliland

mind your own business[quote]

Brother Guray, as my father is from Sool and Mother from Hargeysa it makes me particularly involved in the current realities in Somaliland and also I would be very much concerned in every blood drop of a Somali Muslim.

However, I would not be surprised if the authority seeks the helping hand of the Ethiopian invaders to keep them in power, or alternatively if Somaliland breaks in two halves meaning two small states; where Sool, Sanaag, Ceyn & Togdheer become separate state and Boorame, Hargeysa & Berbera stand a side because of tribal territories. As long as Somalis believe TRIBAL glory the likes of these turmoils will bind to remain.

May Allah make us free from hatred of any Muslim, and Make our hearts come together in UNITY of your Ones.

No I never wish no bad for my somali people up north, but you are rising generation after generation with submition and slavery metality which is contrary to somalinimo, with all kinda propoganda that somalis in the south are their enemy, while the real enemy is chilling in your backward and having an iron hand on your population whether politically, economically or culturally.a pure hegemony.

the people up there would be better of in armed conflict with the nemy thats keeping you down in "peace" ,even if it means loosing million people, cause by the end of the day the rest and their offsprings will be secured freedom og dignity to shape their future.Thats what we are about to in the south,we have a VISION in the midst af all this misery and destruction.

There is no doubt that TFG is Ethiopian creaure and project, but the question remains:.

Who signed that and whom did they represent???

The very same warlords that kept people in hostage is the ones that been the tools in this ill-fated TFG construction, they were put out to represent the peolpe they in reality terrorised for decades with the help og the ethopian feable minority regime..

we all now what happened to the warlords, the power of the people have won over and crushed them once for all.

Now its the real enemies turn to go through the same fate, its the last phase in this dark chapter we are in the middle of,things are going forward Insha Allah, and the somali poeple will be free and rise up again at the end..

fighting is not enough.

you need to a vision, you need to have some sort of organization.....

you do not have a long term vision.
