The Liberation of Burco iyo Ceerigabo in 1988 & 1991 by SNM

I would like to introduce you the the man who single handley Liberated Burco in 1988 Muj, Col Axmed Mire oo ah Beesha Haber Younis and his Siyiid Ali Division of SNM.

The Siyiid Ali division was the first SNM militray wing which were mainly Reer Burco, iyo Reer Ceerigabo oo ah Haber Younis. It was made famous by the founder of the Somali National Movement the late Maxamed Ali (AUN) who single handly founded the SNM military.

Muj. Col Axmed Mire oo ah Reer Burco iyo Ceerigabo also Liberated Ceerigabo with his 8ad divison/ or Ciyiid Ali Division.

All Reer Burco iyo Ceerigabo owe their existent to this humble man and the HY divison of the SNM for Liberating both Burco iyo Ceerigabo which are majority Haber Younis city's.

Silanyo the Head of the SNM refused to send any other division to Burco so it was just up to 800 young HY soilders of the Siyiid Ali Division to Liberated Burco in 1988 and in 1991 another 200 HY soilders in Ceerigabo.
