The Nugaal region more commonly known as Fake Nugaal since 1984 should change name. Its a misrepresentation to call the Region after Nugaal Valley, a valley which stretches well beyond the borders of this region. It is like Ethiopia being called Nile after the Nile river.

They are both nugaal since the province of nugaal is on the boders of the other nugaal it makes no diference cause if you are from sool you are called reer nugaleed and if you are from nugaal reer bari or other names.

Burtinle might be a Part of the Nugaal Region but the people living there are bonafide Reer mudug. I have been there and its only 1 hour and half (its less then that but the roads are fukked up) away from Gaalkacyo!
