Salam alaikum

Well families vary...but the norm is for guys to get away from home as soon as possible....maybe move in with some friends ...a good first step... i guess that would depend upon why hes still living with his parents...is he there to help them or himself and does this guy have a job, saving money to buy his own place or what? if he's just a bum with no job and don't help out in anyway then id say he's a loser  ok there could be many reasons in that case we can't jugde ..

ladies don't ever call a man who live with his parents a mommies boy..... that is the worst thing a women can do to a man...

Move out!!!!!!!!!!!

Why? Waaba caasinimo, xaasidnimo, islaweynan, doqonimo, iyo bakhiilnimo.

Ma markii aan shaqeystay ayan iraahdaa, Kirada am Moorgeyjku waa idinku kaligiin? Besides, some of the boys can't and won feed themselves. Anigu everytime, aan Jaanis u helo dee huuno gurigii hooyo ayaan ku cararaa. yaa Ukhtii intaas waad ka naxariis badnaan jirtay, caawa maxaa ku helay. Mise tii 2008, baa xalay foofka kaa jiirtay oo aad wali la wareersantahay?

Helwaa,

I am surprised that you actually raised this question :( What is wrong living with your own parents? Nothing walaal, as a matter of fact it has many advantages...to name few:

1. Economically he will be savng tons of money...Instead of throwing away rent, utility, food etc he may pay half of what he should have paid by himself..Maybe who knows he pays the whole expenses...

2. He is close to his parents therefore taking care of them more than he would if he moved out.

3. It will help him out not to be tempted with Zinna and women..Because when he lives alone he is more likely to invite girls over his house and then things lead to things...

4. We as Somalis and muslims live with our families unless we are married...

So sister look it at the positive side....

I run away form my family when I was 19, even though my parents werent' happy with it. Grown man who are in their mid 20's, who are still with their parents are failures. They can't hack it , and probably will not make a good husband
