HERE IS MY VIEW:

DEMOCRACY IS THE POLITICAL FRAMEWORK OF THE CAPITALIST THOUGHT....i.e..THE RULING SYSTEM THAT THE CAPITALIST STATES AND THEIR LIKE IMPLEMENT......DEMOCRACY....FOR THOSE WHO EMBRACE IT MEANS THAT PEOPLE RULE THEMSELVES BY THEMSELVES WITH THE SYSTEM THAT THEY CHOOSE...OFTEN....CAPITALISTS REFER TO THEIR SYSTEM AS ''THE DEMOCRATIC SYSTEM''.....

"And those who do not rule by whatever Allah has revealed are non-believers (Kafiroon)." [5:44]

"And those who do not rule by whatever Allah has revealed are oppressors (zalimoon)." [5:45]

"And those who do not rule by whatever Allah has revealed are transgressors (fasiqoon)." [5:47]

WHOEVER DOES NOT RULE BY WHATEVER ALLAH HAS REVEALED.....DENYING ALLAH'S RIGHT TO LEGISLATE......AS IS THE CASE WITH THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN DEMOCRACY...IS A KAFIR ACCORDING TO THE EXPLICIT WORDS OF THE QUR'AN....BECAUSE BY DOING SO HE IS REJECTING THOSE DECISIVE VERSES AND DENYING A CONCLUSIVE TEXT.....MAKES A PERSON A KAFIR........

u do realise democracy does exsist in islam.............i mean democracy.........in the contxt u can choose ur next leader.....u can beg to differ on something etc etc.

democracy as a whole is a system in which power lies within the people yes.........but ofcourse we have islamic laws etc.............u cant trangress de red tapes but within islam democracy is fine..........

like the brother stop stated. democracy is Kufr. And according to shiekh abdul-wahab (rahimahuallah).


And the Imaam and Mujaddid, Shaikh Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhaab (d. 1206H) said:

'Know that those things which eject from the religion (nawaaqid) are ten in number; Whoever believes (itaqada that a guidance other than that of the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) is more perfect or that the judgement other than his is better - such as the one who gives preference to the hukm of the tawaagheet - then such a one is a disbeliever'

the hukm of the tawagheet is anything other than shariah, wether it be democracy or communism etc.

democracy, or shall i say western democracy is a eurocentric thinking. it was mde by the europeans, is a rule of system for the people. but democracy is not good idea if you are muslim or african. because the the western countries thinking and yours are different and suppose to be different. you cant make someone black, white. its their believe, their rules and their ideology. and many people believe that one of the main reasons why African and Middle-Eastern countries are failling is because of trying to be part of something we not and shoulnt be. We are failing because of having and trying to practice something that wasnt made for us. who ever came out with the idea of Western Democracy wasnt thinking of us (Africa, Middl-East or Asia) hint hint "western" idealogy
