Arabs never seize too amaze me, they are willing too fight Hezbollah, but when they were getting butt fukked by the Jews the didnt lift a finger. In fact Hezbollah made way and fought back, they restored Lebanons dignity by going toe to toe with the far suprior Isrealian army.

Re: Fighting Breaks Out in Lebanon
Hezbollah is NOT Lebanon.
"Nasrallah rejected accusations by pro-government groups that Hezbollah was bent on staging a coup."
The rest of Nasrallah's statements make it sound as if he thinks he is already the legitimate government, and that his private armaments are the national defense......
Is it just an Israeli fatwa that has him in hiding?

Re: Fighting Breaks Out in Lebanon

The spectacle of middle-eastern Muslims slaughtering one the other is one I can watch with calm composure. From this point of view the more of each other they kill, the less there is for civilized folk to worry about.
The willingness on the part of the members of the Religion of Peace to fight each other should never be under-estimated. Perhaps we should take up Thomas Friedman's suggestion in the New York Times to let these gangster regimes liquidate their own zealots. To say in effect: "Hey, bucko. Do us a favor, will you? Round up all your Islamic militants and massacre them, like your old pal Hafez al-Assad did in '82. In return, we'll lift current sanctions and deposit a billion in your Swiss bank account. Got that?"
A depraved hoodlum like Egypt's Mubarak just might go for that.

Grant, are you a rabid anti-Semite?
When Israel lands a fatwa on Evil-doers, you turn a hose of abuse on the beleagured Jewish state. But when a thousand fatwas issue daily from the Infidel-Slayer Mosque, not a ripple of protest is raised.
Be truthful now...

Lebanon's Hariri proposes deal to end conflict
BEIRUT, May 8 (Reuters) - Lebanese governing coalition leader Saad al-Hariri proposed a deal to end a conflict with Hezbollah on Thursday, appearing to row back on government decisions which the group had viewed as a declaration of war.
Hariri outlined a deal that would consider the government decisions a "misunderstanding".
He was referring to a cabinet decision this week to declare illegal Hezbollah's communications network and remove the head of airport security, who is close to the group, from his post. Hezbollah says the communications network is part of its military infrastructure.

Hmm....Nouri al Maliki is trying to take steps to curb Shia militias in Iraq too.
I wonder if all this is some preparatory groundwork to curb Iran's asymmetrical options if a strike is carried out against them.
There's probably a codename for these covert activities: Operation Sever Tentacles

Hizbollah's probably saying to the Govt: "Where was this courage when we were battling IDF in Southern Lebanon and you were crying on National TV?"

Lebaneese Suniis are crap.
I think the best antidote for them is the Israeli airraids.
Bunch of sellouts like Sinyori.

I hope that country goes down the gutters. It has always irritated me for some reason.

My sincere, heartfelt apologies ... I mean you no harm. I was looking frantically for someone against whom I might take up cudgels.
I should have known that a soul who bears so striking a resembalence to Peter Singer would be on friendly terms with Israel. Here allow me to pour you some tea.
Who is Peter Singer? Why, only the preeminent living moral philosopher :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Singer
