Sad sad story about this girl with Aids.

Finally someone who steps forward and talks about AIDS/HIV within the somali community. This has long been a taboo subject, yet there plenty of somali people who carry this disease.

One story i heard was from Denmark, a man was married to a woman and he had gone on holiday to Kenya. Whilst he was there he had unprotected sex. When he came back, several tests were performed, as he'd come back from abroad, including Aids. The results showed they were positive. His wife and him were called in to the doctors and were told of the positive results. The doctor explained to the wife that if she decided to carry on having sex with her husband she should always use a condom, and be extra careful as Aids will kill, and is incurable.
The response of the lady:

This is something i have never understood, i still don't and never will. Allah gave us a free will, she had all the information that could possible be given to her about aids, even if she'd decided to have sex with her husband she could've taken precautions. Ignorance will be her death.

She ended up getting the disease.

but walalo what makes you think people need to step forward and talk about their problems with the world thats just westersn thinking. you dont need to tell everyone that you dieases A, B or C. you just keep quite and pray to allah and ask forgivness is the islamic attittude

Thats what I think as well but truth be told if we just stop having sex and saved ourselves for our future partners then we wouldnt have the need to have these conversations. Alas the horrible truth is we do have it and something needs to be done, Aids isnt something from Nature but a virus made in a military lab as a method of keeping the population of 3rd world countries low...proof of this is all those NGO's that are sent to Africa who pretend to bring people Vaccinations, but are actually injecting people with aids. Just recently a trail was going on in Lybia where these Bulgarian Nurses were being accused of injecting people with Aids Hiv.

That's true sis, but at the same time, people need to be educated and they need to be aware that there is help out there. The reason why people don't talk about it is because it is a Taboo subject. In their mind the only way someone could end up with Aids/HIV is through sexual intercourse, which most of us know that it isn't the only way of getting it.

If you get it trough sexual intercourse (with other than your husband/wife), then you only have yourself to blame. But people who get it through other means, should not be ashamed nor should they keep it all to themselves.

They DO need to pray and ask for forgivness, but at the same time, Allah gave us free will and the ability to think!
