need your advice. I work with this two fat somalian and they talk about how big they are and how no man wanna marry them in america. I think they are depressed and they blame the slim fashion show in america that is discouraging men against the fat women. I cry with mercy maalinkasto when they start their regular song and dance about how fat they are and how men make fun of them. One of them is saving money to go to Somalia and look for a husband. They couln't help staying away from the topic even when a sheikh asked them to do so during the Ramadhan. They said they tried all kind of exercises and pills but they keep on increasing weight.

It hurts when they their sorry topic because they are depressed somalian girls and we share blood. what can i do to help them. ?

That's a good option, somalia ha ku laabato....in my life I have seen one somali obese women that truly shocked me, I asked habartaas yaa waaye and they replied she's only 27. , makiiiin. Anyways I think it's beyond food intake that contributes to their drammatic weight gain, somehow their body is not obsorbing all the goodz like protien, fiber, carbohydrate from the small instine or something.

Thanks Advo for you reply. Kuwaan they are not that obese. Waa iska 200-250lb qiyaastii i think. Dhibka heesto waxaa waaye they say Fashion show ga aa qaladka leh and that kind of crap. dhib badan baa heesto. One of them told me she lived on popcorn and diet coke for 6 months but she gained 5 exta lb instead of loosing weight.

I don't believe in bullsh-t like "I can't lose weight bla bla bla" as long as there's no medical reason behind get off your fat backside and excercise. I have no sympathy for couch potatoes, mac sonkar!

Dieting olne won't do any good for them. Exercise is must. 2 years ago, i was 120kg, and in 6 months I got rid of 35kg. And if i did it anyone can do it. The only problem, i had to change all my cloths. I went from size 44 to 36.

anyways to the topic maker, there are some people genetically predisposed to absorb fats more then others and their cravings for food might be much more intense. My advise would be to let them know if it becomes that difficult theres always the option of liposuction. These days its not that expensive and it could be a starting point of a new path in life in loosing more and more weight.
