If the parents are focking idiots then yes you can marry without their blessing. I know these Kurdish girls, beautiful sisters as people and Islamically. Their father is a focking d!ck head, who drinks, abuses them and sit's his ass at home all day just stalking his daughter's. Doesn't allow to them going to the Masjid and doesn't even allow them to pray Salah.

Recently the elder one wanted to marry this Arab guy who's a good Muslim and her father said to her 'I will kill you if you marry that guy' period. In this case I believe she can say to him fock-off and marry who she wants. But being the good humans they are, she did what her father wanted, mainly out of fear I believe. I feel sad for them girls for having a parent like that dude. Somali parents are different I believe, they aren't this bad to their child.
