Eriteria's 2.5% tax
Wow i was speaking to my freind and he was telling me how all eriterian expats pay a 2.5% tax to their govt back home. The money goes towards building roads, defence etc. I thought that was nuts and personally could never see that happening in Somalia.
Re: Eriteria's 2.5% tax
Thats a good idea. But somalis do a lot of fundrasing for schools and hospitals. And also for wars unfortunately.

Re: Eriteria's 2.5% tax
Their chid is organized while ours isnt........I believe we contribute more to somalia each month but the thing is, ours is keeping people alive not building stuff while theirs is going beyond necessary needs.

Re: Eriteria's 2.5% tax
As I have indicated various times, I have never seen any people who more patriotic and natianalistic than the Eritreans. Despite their different religions and ethnic backgrounds, they are always united by the love for their country. Once they settle and kick the Wayane behinds, I think the Eritreans have the best future in the Horn! They will be centuries ahead of the rest of the countries in the Horn in terms of education, infrastructure, and social life.

Re: Eriteria's 2.5% tax
Abdullahi Yusuf is a warlord.. If the war was over, all of the warlords gone and peace and stability, HELL YA people would pay 2.5 Tax.
The problem is there is a lot of mistrust between people. The only way to fix that is to get rid of the warlords.

Re: Eriteria's 2.5% tax
How much do Somalis send back to their families every year? How much qaraan is collected every year for schools, hospitals, droughts and so forth? How many teknikos are bought? [] In all honestly we send way more money back then little Eritrea but we just don't have peace.
