^What is the justification? Is Capturing Somali villages part of the Jihaad against Ethiopia and TFG??

They need to sort out their priorities if this is true.

Al-Shabab are known to capture villages where only civilians are in control; they hit the village rob what little the village people have by gun point and run all within few hours. The bottom line is everything they touch spells trouble for the civilians, even in big cities they throw small bombs, and in response the Ethiopian forces hit the whole block.

The civilians are really at a lost here, neither the Al-Shabab nor the Ethiopians care for their well being, even the last of the NGOs that provide food and medical seems to have abandoned them since it was Abu Mansur that issued Jihad against all foreigners.

The government claims to administer the whole country, so to a large degree it is for the media war.

In reality the TFG only administers the city of Baidoa at the moment. Mohamed Dhere, AMISOM and General Gabre run the districts of Mogadishu under government control and the Ethiopians now pretty much directly rule Beledweyne since they disarmed Daboged but never replaced him with anyone else.

Most of the south is now largely in the hands of the UIC or al-Shabbab, though there are pockets of independence, notably Kismayo, Marka and Gedo.
