Extravagant weddings!

Seriously whats the point? I've been invitied to a family wedding this weekend and rumours are going around that the bride (my cousin) and the groom have spent in excess of 20k!!. The bloddy invitation, right in front of me as i type is crazy. I thick peice of wood, covered in brown suede, with the wedding details in some sort of gold thread, wtf. This shit is a bit over the top. The wedding is in some top location in Knightsbridge London, with security from the same company that dealt with the G8 in scotland (still cant stop somali wedding crashers lool).

I could never in my life depart with 20k in one night, i just couldnt live with myself, expecially considering the current climate in Somalia.

Still debating if i should go or not, On one hand good food and see family i havent seen in ages, on the other hand a bunch of desprate xalimos and farahs, that have little shame. I'll see.

One question to the girls, what makes you crave such crazy and expensive wedding celebration?

looool@the invitation cards, thats ridiculous . There's nothing wrong with that if they have a huge sallary, but if they can't afford it realistically, as in they'll get into to debt or something then they shouldn't. Why do girls like giant weddings? some have always dreamed about having one since they were little others are just pressured into it, I think the latter is most common.

If the girl has always dreamed of a huge wedding, when she's gettin married u throw her the wedding of her dreams, thats just how it is.

Money comes and goes, she'll remember that day forever though, and u make it, like she always dreamed of.
