Would you rather try and sort things out even when it gets really really tough or just bail and look elsewhere - I am extremely tempted in mega fights. Difficult question and a lot of different circumstances but i'm insterested to see what you all say anyways.

I am assuming you are in the process of getting acquainted with your significant other and planning a marraige. This is the stage you acquire as much information on each other as you can, establish your common grounds learn each other's weaknesses/strengths.

If you cant negotiate at this level i dont see how you will with the added pressure of family life.

Accept that there will always be differences in points of view and preferences will vary, question is can you negotiate and reach amicable settlements?
