Its more and more looking like we are heading the wrong way
UDUBs point is that every clan deserve to have a region of there own , for administering it and making the best of their already clan territory.
its actually a very good point..

we are not talking about six new regions but actually EIGTH

three new regions made out of what was former South Waqooyie Galbeed
Gabiley in the west , Hawd in the central south and Gaarood in east and south.
do I need to say sacad muse , arap and ciidagale or you probably saw the drawing.
well its no genius Isaxaaq yunis or whatever will be next subclan out with their own gobol.
and then I guess the circle is completed. Cause Hargeisa will remain like and independent region


but still ... well I wanna know what u think since you design so many maps.

That Map is incorrect in Awdal as Essa only live from Garissa north of Lughaya to Saylac. The rest is Samaroon.

Somaliland as well as some individual journalists and whatnot have issued a few sketches of the new regions, but none of them match the corresponding list of new districts. Also there is no list of what old districts will go to the new Gobols.

I don't think the confusion as to the exact borders of the new Gobols will be resolved until Somaliland publishes a detailed breakdown of the new Gobols and ALL of their Districts, not just the new ones.

My latest map has an attempt to rationalize the information I have now with the sketches I have been given, but they don't really match up.

and the districts are within the gobols.. so kinda it shouldn't be too hard.
But I think also Egal ( AUN) left behind some unmapped districts...

When did HJ let alone Isaaq become a majority in North Western Sanaag

North Western Sanaag is an overwhelming Majority of Reer Yusuf, Nux Omar, Bah Ogaslabe minus Mayd (10 people and a watering hole).

South Western Sanaag besides the tuulo of Ceelafweyn (50 senior citizens , zero hospitals, zero schools) has a couple dozen minor sub sub clans of Warsangeli.

Between no need to dispute over Western Sanaag when the entire landscape is mountains and dust, which only the idoor inhabits.

Will let the Habar Jeclo govern the mountains of Western Sanaag. 8)

These are questions that remain unanswered


The towns you just listed, LQ, Hadaaftimo, ect is the definition of Sanaag their are no other towns/cities with inhabitants that are significant to be named. Since I named the watering holes of western Sanaag they still remain insignifcant and Somaliland just as their midget state and clans can claim to control the mountains of Western Sanaag. They dont have internet access.
