President Darman Wins USRP Party Elections

President Darman won the United Somali Republican Party (USRP) Primary on May 30, 2008 to become the Chairman of the Party. Representatives from 11 regions of Somalia gathered at the USRP convention in the Somali capital. President Darman was elected with 52% of the vote.

On behalf of the USRP supporters in the United States, I would like to congratulate his excellency, President Abdinur Darman on his win. The USRP looks forward to fielding President Darman in the 2009 elections to be held in Somalia provided the Occupation ends and the dismantling of the Ethiopian colonial administration lead by the impostor Abdullahi Yusuf.wIN
