In 1964, Barry Goldwater (R) campaign had the following slogan: In your heart you know he is right.

Others who were running anti Barry campaign added: yes, extreme right. And also they said: in your Guts, you know he is Nuts :lol:

As political junky, I've read numerous books and quotes past and present campaign slogans and gaffes; as to your topic, my favorite is the third term re-election of Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1940: "Better a Third Term Than a Third-Rater". :mrgreen:
