Life in the USA If Khat was Legalized

Life would be much better if Khat was legalized:

1. No more Starbuck runs in the afternoon

2. More khat parties and thus reducing the need to go out for entertainment

3. Closer socializing between the Somali community & thus increasing friendlier ties among us all.

4. Finally be able to go clubbing on Tuesday night and not feel tired for work the next day

5. Now you can babysit Awowe & his friends with very little trouble

6. Fewer arrests and crime associated with black market khat

The same is true of Marijuana, and yet the US govt continues to throw people in jail for growing, selling or smoking it.
US drug policy is not based on common sense.
