Alshabaab amir's qualification is Jihaad experience which includes training in Afghanistan just like their current amiir. here is their chain of command.

1. President abu-zubeir ibrahim afghani- Isaaq
2. Training co-ordinator- xassan Turkey-Ogaden
3. Secretary of Informatin- Abu mansuur- digil and mirifle
4. Macalin xaashi Faarax Shabelle region commander- abgaal
5. Hiiraan Unit Commander - Gen Suleyman- Gaaljecel- replaced aadan Cayroow
6. Unit Commander -central somalia- Fuad Muxamad Khalaf-Ortoble
