Re: Gurey25
i dont think so..
the smaller less prosperous emirates like sharjah, ajman and ras al khaima have some shortages but
this is due to the massive expansion in growth they are undergoing and the usuall arab lack of planning..
Abu dhabi and Dubai do not have a shortage.

Re: Gurey25
Most gulf arabs are generally tolerant of somalis becuase they ahve lived witht them for generations
it would be rare to encounter any racism.
Somalis are practically unkown in the other countries, you are basically another poor black african to
most egyptians, lebanese etc while most gulf arabs think you are a fellow arab.
now Saudia is an unhealthy environment for everyone, probably thats why they pay much higher salaries than anyone
i know a guy that took a 30% downgrade in salary to move to the UAE.
I still think the UAE is the best of the lot, oman, and qatar even bahrain are pretty good places to live.
unfortunatley the weather is unbearably hot, Syria is another place, its safe
very little crime, and welcoming to somalis.. but there are no jobs.

Re: Gurey25
The best Arab countries for Somalis are Qatar, Syria, Kuwait and Oman. I'd probably add Yemen, but they are piss poor and on par with Somalis in terms of income. UAE is OK, but its hard to get a citizenship and a citizen have to take your responsibility
Re: Gurey25
Seem to be a lot of Somali's buying property there. I know a few who are having houses built in Dubai right now.
