it does not say Eritrean Peoples Liberation Front [EPLF]

The ELF was a muslim movement and the EPLF is orthodox christian movement. Today the EPLF is in power, not the muslim ELF.

The muslim ELF today is being attacked by the christian EPLF.

Where did you see or hear that.

In 1970 Isayas split from ELF complaining that ELF is Moslem dominated.
From 1970 to 1980 both were fighting each other ON and OFF.
In 1979 ELF entered in conflict with TPLF (Meles was not TPLF leader then).
TPLF pushed ELF to near the Sudan Border. EPLF used this opportunity and Pushed ELF further to Sudan.

Now there are 2 ELF and are members of the Alliance against Isayas. Members of the Alliance the Red Sea Afar just conducted military operation.

I think there is a mistake here.
The Eritrean flag was used for 10 years during the federation with Ethiopia.
The background is the same, but the Eritrean has UN symbol instead of the star.

Eritrea had a flag (1952) that is before Somalia.
