I said that too screaming " alaa jareerti somaliya" when I saw their CD promotion on TV. What is so great about them I dont understand? acting like gaalo and saying the only way to voice our problems is through singing, unfortunately that is not an appropriate Islamic way to acknowledge the pain, you could argue it's what youth are prepared to listen to. Also getting support from America when it's the Americans who are creating chaos for our country is also weird.
