A BUS driver convicted of killing a grandmother and maiming her granddaughter will be sentenced today.
Somalian Ismail Ahmed, 43, of Emerald Square, Southall, faces the possibility of a lengthy prison sentence after being convicted of dangerous driving and two counts of grievous bodily harm at Richmond Crown Court in May.
The father-of-three ploughed into the a 65-year-old grandmother, injured her 35-year-old daughter and crushed the leg of her two-year-old granddaughter so severely it had to be amputated, on April 25 last year at Mortlake bus station.
He is due to be sentenced at Richmond Crown Court today.
