I have a little cousin who's 13. Shes My mums sisters daughter and I Went 2go visit them for 2look after them while my aunt and my mother went out.
After getting so bored with watching the younger kids play my cousin was asleep and was feeling ill (shes the oldest of the kids) so me being nosy aswell as being lucky i come across her "Girly Dairy"

After reading through pages and pages of long descriptions of her day 2day business. It shocked me profoundly in reading repeated quotes of where she says frequently


"AM SO ANGRY WITH LIFE" <<< she wrote this like 22 time

"I KEEP TRYING TO HOLD MY EMOTIONS"

"NOTHING EVER WORKS FOR ME, WHY AM I SO UNLUCKY"

"I HATE MY LIFE, WHY DID GOD EVEN CREATE ME" <<< this a bad 1!!

"I WISH I WAS DEAD" <<< speechless

"I CANT TELL ANYONE, THEY JUST WONT UNDERSTAND"

is she going through a difficult time? a phase perhaps... something that all girls go through... i dunno... her hooyo being somali will not take this serious. I dont have the slightest clue how 2even talk 2her about this. Shes always smiling doing housework... looks after her baby bro's n sistah's.. does well at school and goes 2 mosque ... its almost as if some 1 else wrote it. How does a girl who seems so happy write crap like this... its BIZARRE!! ... am thinking i should ignore it... until she shows real serious signs of self abuse and harm. In the meantime its just words right...?

Jeez girls have some serious mental issues if she was a boy this would never happen... i think!!

it's no joke really. it's important to pay attention to warnin signs before thingz get serious. u dont want to regret and blame urself when thingz do turn bad and say "why didn't i do something about it"

so if i were u i would say something along the lines of..........

"hey, ur such a great role model for ur siblings, but when i was ur age i when through so many things and i was lucky to have older cousins friends etc to help me get through, but i want you to know that im always here for u if u need anything whether u need to talk, some advice or whatever, dont b afraid to come to me.......................

You read her diary? Why would you do that? That is totally wrong, you shouldn't do that.

If you're worried about her, you should become friends with her and get her to talk about her problems. But she doesn't sound like someone who is going to commit suicide....kids that write down their feelings generally don't commit suicide. It helps them put everything into perspective, that's probably why she's a happy kid.

hanad -- actually this teenage is a healthy one. Psychologist always recommend writing down your feelings in a journal. It drastically helps. Teenage years is horrible. You begin change-evolutionally. Things grow, hormones surge, self esteem blossoms, u go thru this teenage rage- come on u all know what i am talking about. Basically, teenage rage is caused by self realization that one looses part of themselves-- the innocent, idealist child who really never thought beyond her doll and her pink pretend tea cups. Its basically a rude awakening.
