Why did you have make such a silly comment SDM? Grow up will you?

The Patriot: - Believe it or not must be most people who have memorised the Quran read at least a juz each night in order to keep their memory strong. I heard even Shaykh Sudais does that.

Why is it that this thread was left all the way at the second page? The Quran, the words of Allaah, is that unimportant?

Anyways, answers from those who have memorised the Quran would be most ideal. Such as a regimen used for memorising the Quran.

Me too, I recently got a portable Quran player called 'digital Quran' on it and it has everything (tafseer, all the Surahs of the Quran, dua, and it has an alarm clock and it can change up to seven different languages). It only has one Qari on it, Shaykh Sudais but his recitations help me in memorising ayats.

I used to cut down to only memorising the Quran on the weekends but somehow I lost track and I make it now a must to read or listen to the Quran at least once a day.

Thanks for your reply. :)

Muwahidah, Your name resembles one of Alla's name and you can't name yourself one of Allah name except when you put 'Abdi' in front of it.

Mowahid is Allah's name, you just made it female name

I think this should be private matter!

The Prophet (saw) said:

'Should I not inform you of that which I fear for you even more than the dangers of Dajjal? It is the hidden shirk: A person stands to pray and he beautifies his prayer because he sees the people looking at him' (Sahih; Sunan ibn Majah).

hadith of Abu Hurairah which was attributed to the Prophet (saw):

'which says that Allah said, 'I am so self-sufficient that I am in no need of having an associate. Thus he who does an action for someone elses sake as well as Mine will have that action renounced by Me to him whom he associated with Me.' (Narrated by Muslim, Kitaab al-Zuhd, no. 2985)

Barakalahu fiiki for the encouragements, May Allah enlighten our hearts with the Quran!

Brother Salafi

Salafi brother, I think you should refrain from posting random ayats that usually have nothing to do with what anyone is talking about. If you nothing to contribute to this thread, I suggest you leave.

Ismahan123, trust me sister I know a lot of people who would love to have remembered the amount of Quran that you still know. Plus, it's never too late to keep on learning. :D

Is not random Verses or Hadiths, It talks about boasting oneself to unnecessary attention, to a deed which should only be concerned between servant and their Lord Allah (swt). Is been reported one Scholar use to say, He was fighting against himself to abstain from showing off for 40 years and that was the hardest challenge he ever faced in his life. So where are we in that? GENERAL NASEEHA, I am not saying anyone had boasted their knowledge or how good they are! my inattention is only a reminder, that we may not fall into that trap.

May Allah (swt) protect us.
