I don't remember your tone being so negative during last year's conference, the Salafi Jadiids are doing a major number on you, sxb. This year's conference will deal with critical issues that the Somali community in N. America are facing i.e. family & children, planning for the future, strengthening one's faith, improving communication within the community, etc.

I'm not knocking the brother but I heard Him speak in person just a little while ago and He told Us Himself I went to Madina and many other places but didn't like to study and left and now He just goes places and talks. He knows how to talk and rile people up but has no knowledge akhi and I don't mean that to knock Him. I haven't heard Sh Yaxya speak but I can tell You this Yasin guy ain't got no PhD in Fiqh.

As for Sh. Khalid Yasin, just google his biography and you'll see where he went to University to get his degree in Fiqh. I know the Salafi Jadiids like to knock down every Sheikh that isn't in their sect, but thats not what Islam is about. I have a CD of them insulting Sh. Umal and calling Masjid Assunah a 'dharaarah' Masjid that should be destroyed when it was them who left the Masjid to form their own, dadkaan xishood ma laha, diinta wey ku tuntaan, you better be careful.
