I just finished listening to the link you posted, laakiin wallaahi, I haven't noticed anything exceptional in his voice, he sounds just like any other newcomer, and trust me I know a lot about fanka. The thing that put me off is, he has difficult in Sobrano and he is forcing himself, he doesn't have that natural flow of talent. But that is my observation.

But its not the somali I speak.....its like an american reading shakespear. The somali i speak is like coliquel (ie street or regular) the somali in the music is sooooo hard core Id need to ask my mom or older cousins to translate.....
Theres a song that I can sing along with it...but walhi...i have no idea what im saying....lol

you have point there. in somali plays sometimes they swicth from normal somali to some hard somali which i never get.
