Should Obama become Somali President?

Post by American-Suufi »

Most Somalis from every region, Land and tribe in the west root for Barrack to win and regard him with respect than any Somali politician, but they can't agree on a Somali individual to lead Somalia? They would not support if Obama had a Somali father, a tribe and will question his tribe and it would be an impediment for their support. My question is, if Obama loses, would they accept him to lead Somalia?

Let me use Mr teenage Mr X as an example. He is a hardcore supporter of Obama here and as stated by him, his grandfather may Allah bless him, a wise man supports any government in Somalia and since the T.F.G is only transitional, the wise grandpa wants peace in Somalia. In return, Mr X and Obama supporters will root for dictaorship subconsciously in Somalia, while grandpa unlike their Obama rooting wants to see Somalis to have a genuine democractic Somalia in future. Will Obama supporters want him to become Somali president if he loses? They root for him because he has no Somali tribe. If Obama was Somali, will they root for him? Or, will they will ask his Somalia policy?

Obama supporters-what do they expect? Acting educated is one thing, but supporting Obama and at the sametime al-shabab in Somalia needs articulation. Will your Obama support?
