Xassan Aadan is a living legend. No any other somali musician comes closer when it comes to the number of songs he produced. This man became a musician in 1971 and almost four decades later not only is he still running and pretty much in the picture but it looks as though he's still ontop of his game. 40 years at the pinnacle of somali music. And who is to say Hassan won't be around 10 or 20 years from now. Not only can he sing in af somali better than any other musician out there, but he can also sing in af maay maay like no other.

Having said that, my all time favourite musician is the great Sheekh Cabdullahi Zulfa. Like Samatar, he can sing in different dialects.

My intention on creating this thread wasn't to ask your favorite singer, but to tell you that Samatar wants the Amxaaro to leave our homeland. Since he is the most famous Somali singer, he could have contributed to the stuggle to liberate the country. Well people like the Midgaanta Maryan Mursal and focking whoore Saado Cali shake thier old and ugly azzes for Afbiijo....Saado was a Somali icon until she started singing for Afbiijo.

Respect to Samatar in singing/speaking the rich Somali language of Maay.
