Obama might not want to make this out of a big deal, but he's campaign knows that this could help him with white voters. White working class people are not big fans of jesse jackson, and this could cement obama's move to the centre.
The only problem is, he doesn't want to alienate african american voters as well, but the fact that he's black himself means he can basically get away with ignoring he's African american base and still African american's for the most part will support him.

This guy is a hater, he hates to see another black man succeed unlike his sorry ass. How much times did this fool run for presidency again?
