Allah save us from the mind-numbing rhetoric of these dissembling pseudo-Salafi's.

You guys are educated people, instead of engaging in intellectual dialogue whereby you try to gain knowledge from one another you result to sandbox taunts as if your discussing somali qabiil.

Evil innovations of sufis!
In the two Saheehs of Bukhaaree and Muslim the Prophet (sallallaahu-alaihi-wasallam) said: "Whoever introduces something into this affair of ours something which does not belong to it will have it rejected"
Abu Daawood in his Sunan reports from Ibn Eesa: "Whoever does an action in a way different from ours then it is rejected "

Wow whats the beef between sufi's and sunnis all of a sudden. Its obvious one is a misgudied and deviant sect and the other is the Haq of Allah. Thank God Allah guided the majority of somalis away from sufism, bida etc

Sufi's are suni's, but they are misguided. They believe in grave and saint worshiping, dhikrah etc and a lot of somali's back in somali practice sufism unfortunately. The mysticism aspects of sufism is popular with many asian and africa countries because it's similar to their pre-islamic traditions/customs.
Also takfiri's are in somalia as well, this sect believes they are the only true muslims and everyone else isn't. It's sad all these sects are dividing muslims.

Check out the last two paragraophs under "Druze" or Durze.
Standing Fatwas:
They are worse Kaffirs than the Jews, Christians or mushrik Arabs. Their repentence is unacceptable. Their food may not be eaten and they may not be employed as gatekeepers. Their women may be enslaved and their wealth confiscated. Their leaders are to be killed wherever they can be found and by whatever means.

We would engage in intellectual dialogue, but even those who have, so far, passed as intellectual cannot resist the good old anti-Sufi taunt, never mind the rabble. As it as always been, the Salafi's are the first to hurl insults, accusations of deviance, excommunication and everything else under the sun.
The superficial Salafi's on this board are not, at all, interested in gaining knowledge, rather, they are interested in sloganeering and associating themselves with the 'saved sect', even when all outward signs point to their clear faasiqnimo.
