More like Salafi time to ridicule a group of Muslims who shake and moved at the mention or remembrance of Allah.

Ali, Allah be well-pleased with him, said about the Companions as a whole:

"When Allah Most High was mentioned they swayed the way trees sway on a windy day, then their eyes poured out tears until - by Allah! - they soaked their clothes. By Allah! Folks today are asleep and heedless." Abu Nu'aym, Hilya (1985 1:76, 10:388).

If any resemble the Companions sxb, they are the Sufis.

No wonder it has been said the so-call "Salafis" are the group with the following characteristic:

-They are also called Wahabbis.

-They claim to follow the "aqida" of the Salaf, while in reality the aqida they follow is that of Imam Ibn Taymiyyah (ra) who lived 7 centuries after the time of the Salaf.

-They are notorious for their rejection of certain matters which were considered as differences of fiqh among Muslim scholars such as: making an intention to visit the grave of the Prophet (pbuh), tawassul through an absent or dead person, celebrating the Mawlid, etc.. Scholars of all 4 Sunni madhabs considered all these matters to be pertaining to fiqh while the Wahabbis/Salafis insisted that these were aqida issues, which led them to declare the majority of Muslims as Ahlul Bid'ah and even Mushriks!!

-They reject the traditional Sunni madhabs of aqidah (Ash'ari, Maturidi) and differ on fundamental and main issues of aqida with Ahlus Sunnah, such as their anthropomorphic beliefs in regards to Allah (swt); they claim he has literal hands, shin, face, he sits on the throne, that he is above the throne and touching it, etc.

-They are very well known among Islamic communities worldwide for their extensive declaring of "bid'ah" and "shirk", and also their extensive use of those words in their speech.. many of us have even witnessed one of them yelling bid'ah or shirk to an Imam or otherwise. It is also known that wherever this group appears much fitna among Muslims occurs.

-They are known for their lack of respect of the classic Sunni scholars and personalities.

-They follow a man who appeared in Najd about 200 years ago named Mohammed bin Abdul Wahhab, who declared the entire Islamic ummah as being Mushrik except those who follow him. Him and his followers did Khurooj against the Islamic Ottoman Khilafa, and were therefore officially declared as Khawarij.. they rode around Arabia killing and robbing any village or town which refused to accept their da'wah, vivid descriptions of the massacres that took place on their hands are very well available and can purchased and read. Many Muslims were killed becuz they were declared mushrik by this man.

-Among their most prominent contemporary followers are: Ibn Baz, Uthaymeen, Albani, Tuwajiri, Munnajjid, Bin Laden, Safar Hawali, Abdur Rahman Abdul Khaliq, etc.

I dont understand your comment! When you say religion and logic doesn't go together, does that mean that Quran has no logic in it and that God didnt give human beings the faculty to think?

when you want to correct people not because you want to show them how wrong they are or how you're correct and others wrong.
at least that is my understanding.
the wisdom and good manners are the key. al 7ikmah wal mow3ethah 7asah.
if you have the knowledge of the world and this is your conduct do you think would matter your knowledge?

And by the Mercy of Allah, you dealt with them gently. And had you been severe and harsh-hearted, they would have broken away from about you; so pass over their faults, and ask Allah's Forgiveness for them; and consult them in the affairs. Then when you have taken a decision, put your trust in Allah, certainly, Allah loves those who put their trust in Him.

hopefully you know we have things called interpretation, fiqh and ijtihaad al 3olama. at result all that we have different opinions an different issues that's because each group understood or chose to take different interpretation that may/could mean the issues at hand.
the best way to deal these issues is to read/learn each opinions and understand them.
they all based on quran and sunnah, or they own ijtihad based on their experience, personality, and biases.

lastly, ive much respect for the real salafia and not those who read a few pre-selected books and pass jusgement on others or choose to take the most extremist way.
growing a beard and wearing short dress over nights wont make one salafi and better than others. you can name any thing your self or get a title but Allah knows what's the heart.
instead wasting our time argueing it's better to gain knowledge of islamic unity and not make division as we see it today.

my father always uses indonisia as example, the arab traders who delivered islam to them weren't foqaha,scholars or 7amalat shahaadaat 3olya. people converted because of their islamic conduct and honesty.

You said sunni Madhabs of aqeedah as being ash'ari and matrudi. So tell us who amongst the the jamhuur was either Ash'ari or matrudi. Imaam malik ? ABu Hanifa ?. ash-shaf'i and we dont even need to discuss the aqeedah of Ahmed ibn hanbal he was tortured for it.

So please bring us proof that any of the four Imaams followed the Ash'ari aqeedah.
