Asalamu alikum to all
I have found lost money before...I remember finding 5 pounds awhile back (years), and being so happy...subahnallah
Most importantly I lost 30 pounds....and it must have been stolen from me.
This is what happened I was with my two friends, and I needed cash, so we spotted a cash machine, and preceeded to take out cash from it. I went first and took out 30 pounds, and just as the machine was about to give me my cash, this muslim man comes to us (Arab/Indian looking I spotted him watching me and my friends for a minute, didn't seem weird since he started talking to other dude...I know I see a lot)...telling us how his wife/or him-----had a room to lend in a house, and so my other friend started asking him question about the house...This is because our other friend was looking for a place.
Before the man even came we decided that we shouldn't further use this cash machine since it charged me 1:50....and this is interest. So anyways back to the man telling us about the house....he was talking and everything.... and just then another muslim man came with a beard and everything. I distinctly remember seeing him at the masjid perviously, he came and said, "This machine charges money, there's another cash machine nearby use that one," "I asked him where that was, even though I know the area fairly well....and sort of knew where he was going to say. He then points to somewhere and says its just about there (I knew that 8) already ). I said thank you.
At this point you might be thinking what happened to my 30 pounds? Well to put it bluntly I completely forgot about it

. So when the bearded muslim man told me about the other FREE cash machine he left, and just about then the other one left. I remembered my money then!!!!! I was like girls where's my money?....I don't have my money....we looked through my bag and everything, they told me that I had the money in my hand (I didn't even remember that)....and then of course I had to laugh it off and say I was resoundingly conned.
Long story, but I had to throw it out there. The more people that laugh at me the better I feel
Wasalam
