Great news indeed. Bosaaso is a top ranking city. I am not suprised it attracted Mogadishu University. The diversity of that city is really unbelievable
Bosaaso is a growing , politically diverse, culturally tolerant city and it attracts all types of businesses whether it be private schools, khat traders or small construction companies.
I know an IT Prof in Mogadishu University. He has never been out of Somalia and his educational background is mostly based on rigorous self-study based initiatives, UN seminars, plus the early and the oudated education system of Somalis.
It is hard to accredit these schools as standard universities, but they certainly capitalized on this particular problem recognition. University is a good trademark for private schools based in Somalia.
Nice Move, this will make Bossaso the only Somali with city three Universities, not even Hargaisa and Moqdisho have that much. Savage south learn one or two from Puntlanders
