as a packer fan, i say good riddance
he shoulda came back in march when it was perfect to unretire

If he performs well and the Jets go far, the higher the draft pick is for the PackAbdiWahab252 wrote:Shamboo,

cabdulwahaab,
my problem with him is that he wants to compeate with youngesters like Tom and Romo
he had his time and moment he needs to chill and enjoy his retirement
Manchini & Jets wont stop the Pats sxb with or without Brett

Brett is an overrated, overweight, overpaid and lazy icon. He's the sensational and darling hero for his kind of people, for no reason other than; because he's white. Far more non-white players have a better record and accomplishment than he does.

Re: Brett Favre Goes Jets !
In the NFL, no...he has the most wins over anyone as a starting QB, he is the NFL's only 3 time MVP, he has every passing record and is a super bowl champion.Haddad wrote:Brett is an overrated, overweight, overpaid and lazy icon. Its not because he is white or from redneck country, he was and is still a pretty damn good player...he also has never missed a game, which is amazing for the QB position.
With all of that said, he wants to be bigger than the team and the Packers are smart to have traded him out of the conference. He also had perhaps his most efficient season last year. The media's socking off of Favre is just ridiculous though.
Its Aaron Rodgers' time and if he can stay healthy, he'll be solid. We don't need a Favre, we just need a game manager.

Re: Brett Favre Goes Jets !
does brady have 3 MVPs or is he even close to the starting streak? is he even gonna sniff the passing records?shaamboo wrote:fah, does he have 3 rings like Brady ???/
they're both super bowl champions and brady has had better teams and brady is the better clutch QB
but then again brett favre will have more 4th quarter come backs when its all said and done
Re: Brett Favre Goes Jets !
Given that Football is a sports marred by injuries, it's suspicious Favre never missed a game. It's suspicious because whites are more fragile than blacks and Latinos when it comes to succumbing to injuries. If you observe the rosters of most NFL players, majority are blacks and Latinos. You'll also observe majority of spectators/fans are whites. So, it's natural a player like Favre would attract more spectators/fans, which translates to better profits. The NFL has to make sure he stays unharmed and injury-free. The NFL does that through team coaches who make sure their players take it easy on, or not harm Favre. As with other major sports (MLB, NBA, etc), the NFL is a sports where there's a system of "fixing" to take care of business.FAH1223 wrote:In the NFL, no...he has the most wins over anyone as a starting QB, he is the NFL's only 3 time MVP, he has every passing record and is a super bowl champion.
