Higher Ed ISP

Post by guhad122 »

Does anyone use a college/university as an ISP for DSL internet connection? I am taking an online grad class at a university and was given a free ISP but it is focking not reliable; especially at the weekends. With free ISP through the school, you basically get at least half of your montly charges off.

i did that a while ago too, i didn't rely on it much but it was better than nothing. i noticed most of the students in the UK have laptops and wireless cards provided by their schools, they may be able to better assistance you with this.

Screw;
It is amazing that in many technological aspects, the US is more advanced than EU but when it comes to wireless technology, gotta give them EUs props.

i disagree. i have yet to see anything that the U.S is more advanced in compared to EU. i have been away from home for more than a month now and i have to admit everything is better here than the last time i was here in 2004. things have been modernized and advanced here while the United States is struggling with high gas prices and housing and construction woes. there is better transportation here, better roads, better fuel efficient vehicles...everything is better. even the air. i'm serious, i can't understand why the US is so highly rated and people are dying to be there, i hate it and i can't stand it...i haven't mentioned one positive thing about it to anyone since i left...well, actually maybe one thing. a U.S Passport and its privileges. :P
