You should start reading for you will not win any struggle without accumulating knowledge.

You should also know what your enemy thinks of you, how he reasons, how he perceives the world etc.

That is if you are revolutionary by spirit and want to bring about radical change (in your case Islamic governance).

Reading history, something has caught my attention. The Sayid (AUN) departed on December 21, 1920. It's said he died from influenza. From March 1918 to June 1920, there was a worldwide flu pandemic (known as the Spanish Flu). Its casualty; 20-100 million worldwide. Haile Selassie survived it.

I thought he died in November? Do you have the source?

It is my understanding he was wounded under the left arm in fighting with the Aweysiyya, and that he died at Imo in Ethiopia still being pursued by them. I would assume the wound contributed to his death.

If those 50.000 somalis were collaboraters of that one english soldier, dont they deserve to die? For their own good, since it spares them humiliation?

Collaboraters of your own flesh and blood are more despicable then the invader/colonizer. For they facilitate and assist the work of the invader/colonizer which would have been almost impossible to achieve without their help, especially within a small period of time and small amount of men and resources.

The Sayid failed coz of the Ogaden uprising against him.
The battle in Aware of Sayid Vs Maxamed Zuber brought the fall of the Said.
Then other Somalis continued the uprising that led to his military moved to Talex before the British Air bomarded it.

Sayid C/ Xasan may his soul rest in peace

Typical pastoral culture and its effect on the mentality of Somalis.

Exactly that my friends is why Sayyid Muhammed Abdulle Hassan, and many men before him and after him failed to unite the various Somali groups against foreign powers.

They failed to understand pastoral economy and its impact on our society, politics and most of all culture. It is this failure that led them to wage a struggle without first assessing how the Somali masses would react to their struggle and their tactics.

Sayiidka (AUN) died among the Aarsi Oromo after fleeing into their lands.

It is said that when he saw the herds of Borana cattle (beautiful, meaty cattle), he thought that he and his bands should rustle (steal) them but the Aarsi Oromo were too smart and only gave them little food. He died of hunger and illness.

That being said, Sayiidka (AUN) was a shrewd man and a brave soul

There is a legend that I heard when I was young. It was a prediction from a Banadiri sage: "There will be three Mohameds who will bring great change among Somalis and cause a lot of upheavel."

Mohamed # 1 - Mohamed Abdulle

Mohamed # 2 - Mohamed Siyaad Barre

Mohamed # 3 - Mohamed Farah Caydiid
