Re: Somalia's unknown soldiers
Unlike the Somali men who pointlessly destroyed the nation, the Somali women, whether they are in the motherland or in the Diasporas caused no harm, soldiered on and sustained the country and its people economically and otherwise.
Every facet of the temperament of the Somali women merit awe and celebration. We are particularly impressed with how the Somali women inoculated themselves from the tribalism virus that rendered the Somali men immobile.
Without its women, Somalia would have disappeared long ago. Without them, there could never be a successful Somalia. The Somali women should be saluted; they should be apologized, they should be compensated, they should be consulted with and above all they should be hailed the true heroines they are.
Thanks Fah

I think we can do better then just mere words.
Actions speak louder then words, Hiiraan Online
If their not going to condemn the damn crazed sheikh's that continue to bomb unsuspecting women as they clean the streets of our capitol...FAH then you can tell the Xawadle crew quit the crocodile tears with mere articles.

Re: Somalia's unknown soldiers
Women are the biggest contributors to the downfall of the nation. This guy is either lying through his teeth or is a moron and a naive simpleton. Just because they don't have the strength to carry a gun or man an artillary doesn't mean they were the messiahs of the nation.
I stil remember vividly -and probably will remember for the rest of my life - in 1991 when the Darod were chased from Mogadishu, I don't know what their intentions were (maybe they realized Hawiye were wronged and they wanted to give Hawiye a chance to get their heads straight) but it was the women who were goading their men to fight and get what is rightfully theirs (Madaxtooyada) They went to the extent of stripping their clothes off -I mean naked on the streets - and were compelling and forcing their men to fight, maim and kill the hawiye.
We all remember what magool (au) did, she literally distorted the songs made for the Ethiopian war and applied that to the Daarod (ninkii dhoof ku yimid baa geeridu dhibaysaa)
I believe if it wasn't for the women pushing their men, dagaalku inuu waa hore dhamaan lahaa. Some men were denied pu55y until they defeated the enemy
and we all know what that means.
