The banking system was corrupt. U had to bribe the staff to get your money out of the dollar accounts. U then had to bribe to get a LOC to import.

It was garbage compared to the Kenyan system which was efficient and well run with lots of foreign banks unlike somalia which only had 1.

Somalia should do 2 things to avoid poverty, genocide & incessant warfare:


1. Avoid all interest-based loans from World Bank, IMF, etc.
1. Avoid an interest-based bank. A central bank is the chief tool of global oppression.
