1 US Dollar to Somali Shilling = 53.000 Somali Shilling

1 US Dollar to Somaliland Shilling = 5.500 - 6000 Somaliland Shilling

Theyre doing a lot better

You know Ghana printed a new currency called Cedi which is stronger than the dollar.

Does that mean they are doing better than America? No Use your brain

Somaliland/Puntland Money = Fake
Somalia Money = Fake

The difference is the quanitity that is printed and circulated.

Usually if a currency is worth more than the other it means the other economy is doing better, there are exceptions though.

The Ghana case is a revaluation of the old Cedi, they just scrapped a few zeros of the previous Cedi.
Cedi has an inflation rate over 10%, I don't see it being equal to the dollar longer than 5 years unless it is pegged to another currency.

PS. There is no such thing as Puntland money

Bakhara market is burned the fck down, the heart of the Somali economy is in Bosaso

Stop insulting Somaliland you fool, their money is a lot better then the Somali ones, I seen it.

The Somali shilling does not even have a watermark when you put it against the light, the Somaliland shilling does. Plus their money is regulated by a government.

Fake Somaliland shillings are very rare
