Well I was never married when I went to school

But if I were u, I would not start a family until you have sorted out yourself; finished your education, got a decent job and some money in the bank.

I agree with AbdiWahab, u gotta finish school first and have a good income.

Otherwise what will u raise ur family off of? Financial aid and $9.50 job.

i disagree, i think its good to be married young. this whole settle down and sort yourself out mentality is bullsh!t. i talk with people twice my age who have been married for nearly 20 years and they all tell me the same thing. everyday i am amazed at the answers i get.

Ok getting married is one thing, what about having kids. Do u think someone should have kids before they are done with school, and don't yet have a good steady income?

No, I would not istaqfurrullah. I seriously, do not understand the kind of people who would jeopradize their chances to conceive because they want to finish school. Everything is in the hands of Allah, we cannot prevent nor can we stop no matter how much we say we will.

The Imaam at our masjid recently finished a degree in engineering, is working on his masters, and is happily married with like six children and counting. Mashallah, what's better then having the best of both worlds. And he still has more energy then men younger then his age who have nothing to worry about, nor any responsibilities except for a "regular" job or school. May allah bless his family and give him all the success in the world. Amiin
